Founder’s connection to the problem:
A 10-year boy sitting in class with limited English, confused and anxious about trying to learn. This challenge is still commonplace within the migrant Pasifika community.
Given the opportunity to learn and gain a degree at Auckland University, this resulted in a career with some of New Zealand's largest companies.
Focused now on empowering people to create positive change within our community.

Our community is important and at risk.

There is a lack of life skills and workplace competencies within the Pasifika community. This has led to many being left out of opportunities that are available. The migrant community within Pasifika has the added challenge of limited English language proficiency.
Our Methodology

We believe that the solutions for Pasifika community lie within the changes we bring about to our own communities. This is our main focus, to promote Pasifika solutions within our communities.

Training delivery will be Pasifika focused with cultural elements.
Every effort will be made to provide a supportive environment (aiga) for learners in collaboration with their workplace.
A quality system to track the journey and outcomes for our learners and partner.

The teaching style is always good. It challenges my understanding of the topics I'm learning.
